Baltic Pine & European Timber

I have coveted genuine floorboards for many years after making the mistake of installing laminate floating floors a few years back, what a total waste of my hard earned$$$$$ that was. A couple of years ago I started researching replacing them. I went to the chain carpet places, and all the floor places on Magill Road. Most of these places recommended Engineered timber boards, but having been disappointed by laminate I wasn’t so certain. True these stores had a range of solid timber, but wow was it pricey, over $ 200 sq m laid in some quotes. Then one day the lovely «Mr Bracegirdle» from the chocolate café, told me all about the floors in his shop and the contact # of his installer. This tradie highly recommended European floors. The showroom is wonderful, the range of timbers extensive and the staff both knowledgeable and helpful. I picked a timber unavailable at the other stores which was extremely competitively priced, they stored it for free for 4 months, arranged reasonably priced delivery. Now this process isn’t for people with OCD, I’ve have 60sq being laid and it will take over a week, but it’s looking fantastic and will last for a very long time
