One of a kind! The ultimate cowboys and indians game brought into the here and now with painless laser guns. Or you too can be Rambo, be whoever you want to be, stalking the enemy, hiding in bushes(unless you’re afraid of spiders!), taking the fort from the opposition, gaining the high ground and lie flat on the ground exhausted from climbing and running around. Sure beats being a couch potato exercising the thumbs, TWC is like being in the game, even sounds like a Xbox or PlayStation game title, maybe it is, whatever… it’s awesome fun. We’ve been here three times already and going back again for a kids birthday in December, can’t wait to get the camo gear on and run amuck. It suits anyone without a heart condition as sessions are from 1.5 — 2.5 or 3.0 hours and they close if the Mt Lofty weather zone forecast is 35c due to bush fire risk. They insist players wear long pants and enclosed shoes as the area is bush land, don’t want any nasty surprises or accidents. In the past we’ve always had Chris talk us through the preliminary stuff like safety and a weapon run down in a military fashion but oh so hilarious and comical, everyone has a laugh. The weapons: are impressive to say the least! Rifles, semi autos, autos, brings a whole new meaning to ‘choose your weapon’. Kids will of course want something twice the size of them but unless they’ve the strength of an ant, it ain’t gonna happen kids. Based on the real McCoy, they have ‘bullet whizzing past your head’ sound effects and an endless supply of laser ammo for the duration of the game. Rules apply when to shoot, especially when you give the sign you’re just walking over to the safe area for a recharge — but it’s irresistible shooting someone in the open… score! Need I say more… phone, book, go!
