Topshop

I was expecting to be disappointed. The Topshop stores in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur never really filled the Topshop shaped whole in my heart, left after living in London. So I was expecting much the same for the Australia stores, but I was pleasantly surprised.
It’s no Oxford Street Topshop (fun fact: that’s actually the biggest retail store in the whole world, not Topshops biggest store, but any retail store), but the two levels, deliver a nice collection of cotton basics, more fun going out outfits and a few edgier silhouettes upstairs along with Topman. They also have every shade of the rainbow in nail polish and some ok accessories too.
So pleased to have access to Topshop’s cool designs, at a reasonable price compared to some Australia retailers.

Wow, another hyped-​up clothing store that sells poorly made garments for exuberant prices.
Topshop got themselves into a bit of trouble in 2007 and 2012 for sweatshop labor. What a surprise. It looks like they’re up to their old habits because in what world do you want me to pay 80 dollars for one simple shirt?
You won’t be getting any of my money. Ever.

Just opened on 31 Oct 2014 — a new addition to the Perth fashion scene. It’s right next to Zara on the Murray street mall although you could also enter from the Carillon City (walk straight from Hay street’s Cue).
