Nice stock for the phở’, a bit lean on the crunchie items you add to it, good service, friendly and fast, a good meal.

I was working in the city between Xmas and New Years and my brother met me in the city. Not much was open and deciding what to eat for lunch and a lady walked pasted me with with sweet potato fries. They smelled so good. Looked at the container and it said Rolld. We both looked at each other and said lets try it. I ordered the lemongrass beef noodle salad and he ordered the tofu and vegetable spring rolls noodle salad, we got to choose any side and an ice tea. I choose sweet potato fries and he chose seafood spring rolls and and we both got an lemon ice tea. The staff were really friendly and took the time to explain what was on the menu. Loved the food and it was all really tasty but what was a little disappointing was that you could not choose what meat you wanted. I could not choose chicken lemongrass and the vegetarian options were limited. We were there at 12.30 and they run out of vegetarian spring rolls.

Hmm, I have mixed feelings about Roll’d. I think Vietnamese food is the bomb, so I love that they have such a large selection of Vietnamese goodies to choose from. I love all the fresh veggies, and I’ve found the service at the Enex100 Roll’d quite good. Unfortunately, the veggie bun and rice paper rolls are on the bland side; too much noodle, not enough taste. However, they are one of the few Vietnamese places in the city to make vegetarian phở and it’s pretty good, so I like them for that.

Rolld It’s all in the name. Officially opening today in the food court at enex100 this new establishment is offering Vietnamese style rolls. There was a promotion on that day if 2 free rolls per person from 11am until 2:30pm. For my lunch in the run on the way into work I opted for the Garlic Prawn and BBQ Chicken. Even though the number of people lining up was rather large, staff were on hand to pass out and explain the menu. Both rolls were were flavoursome and had fresh vegetables inside. The chilli mayo sauce packs a nice punch also. The citrus herb is a decent flavour sauce also. Overall good flavours but a little light on the protein portion contained within the rolls.
