Enex 100 proclaims to be the home of style and judging by the amount of top notch designer stores it houses, this is definitely true. It is centrally located in the heart of the CBD, stretching from Hay Street Mall to St Georges Terrace. It has three floors of shops and includes a food court. I like the fact that the food court is not on ground level, rather it is on level one, should you be looking for something to eat.
It is my favourite shopping centre in Perth as it is so well laid out with a fresh, bright feel to it. It exudes a feeling of light and space that make your shopping experience a real pleasure. I really love the fact that even when it gets busy, it is never crowded. It is home to some of my favourite shops — Mimco, Gorman, Lululemon and Dangerfield. KikkiK takes care of my stationery needs, I can always find a pair of shoes I like at Nine West, and Pigeonhole can be counted on for fabulous, unique gifts. There is a JBHifi on the upper level offering DVDs and more! There are some high end fashion stores for men, including Herringbone, Calibre and Marcs. There are many more stores for you to discover and there is even a Woolworths for your grocery needs. A recent addition is Maison St Honoré, which boasts a fine selection of delicious macarons and beautiful French pastries. You may decide to indulge in a High Tea, which would be a delightful way to spend the afternoon.
The beauty of Enex 100 is that it is always trying to woo its customers with special shopping events, promotions and interesting displays. Enex100 lavishes its customers with food, drink and entertainment on its special event days. Who amongst us was not in awe, of the amazing 6m gown fashioned out of 1700 Sakura paper flowers created by the artistic genius Zoe Bradley. At present there is the stunning installation created by New York based artists Nicholas Andersen and Julie Ho. It is a bespoke display crafted by five teams of the Confetti System using 210 square metres of material which has been creatively fashioned into a thing of beauty. There are also fashion shows providing you with a valuable insight into the current seasonal trends.
So take my advice and allow yourself to be amazed by the magic of Enex100!

There is so much going on at ENEX100 it’s hard not to be constantly drawn here.
I often frequent the Food Hall as it houses Matsuri, the selection in the Food Hall is excellent, and there is certainly something for every taste. I also like how the seating on the far side of the Food Hall is in the sun and has an open balcony overlooking Hay Street.
Within the complex are many of my favorite stores Dangerfield, Pigeonhole, Lululemon, JB Hifi, Napolean Perdis and many other are all tucked away in here. I also noticed that Seduce Clothing are a new opening in the last week. There is even a hairdresser, brow bar and alterations place.
The lower level houses Woolworths, Friendlies Chemist, a health food shop and Sushia — The Greenhouse is also right outside the door overlooking St George Terrace.
ENEX100 has so much to offer and I find if you are time-​poor at lunch time it is the place to go, you can sit and eat lunch, grab some groceries and check out the shops all by jumping on an escalator!

Clean, a great variety of shops, plenty of space which means its not too squashed. Woolworths is on the lowerevel so you can buy somethin chep to eat or go up to the food court. Easy access. The coffee was bitter, so that was not such a good experience

Most of the eating outlets here are quite expensive. There’s plenty of places to sit and have lunch. This complex is mainly used by the corporate people during their lunch break.

Aside from the shiny décor and fancy furnishings, enex100 is quite average. I’ve eaten here a couple of times and tried the Indian, Italian, Japanese, and Chinese eateries. The food was decent however, for the price you’re paying, its simply not worth it! I paid almost $ 17 for an Indian curry deal and you could tell no love was put into that food. I would only eat here if it was absolutely absolutely necessary.

Until recently I’ve always considered this place to be «the other carillion», but having spent some time investigating the place, I think Enex100 is a pretty good shopping mall. There’s a lot of space, which is nice and it’s air conditioned and clean. On the st georges terrace end there’s the greenhouse bar/​restaurant which seems really popular, a chemist, health food store and massage place, plus a giant woolworths which is nice to have for shopping and groceries on Friday nights after work. On the main floor there’s a bunch of women’s fashion places and some men’s wear boutiques that seem kind of expensive, with good looking skinny guys draped around the place. Upstairs, there a JB Hifi and and EB Games, which caters to my fashionable nerd stylings, although tbh, the JB is staffed by pretentious hipsters and girls with hitler hair do’s that I feel are silently judging me when I stop to run my fingers lovingly over a Taylor Swift concert DVD or stare at the WWE titles on offer. The food court has a good selection of cuisine on offer, and if u sit by the windows you can watch the people in the hay st mall below. Enex100 seems to be trying to capture the young urban executive demographic, with it’s designer fashion stores and bar/​café downstairs which is perfect for that part of the city. I like it!

This is a very flash city shopping mall. To be honest although I think its cool on some levels, it fails to impress on most.
Yes its bright, fancy and funky, but there is not really enough to keep you coming back. JB Hifi is good, as is Eb Games and some of you might LOVE Dangerfield. However thats about it.
I usually pay a visit when I am in the city just to see if anything has changed, it never does.
All in all a predictable, expensive shopping mall that ultimately offers very little.

The Enex100 building is kind of like Perth’s answer to Sydney’s Bondi Junction, albeit a smaller version of the popular shopping destination. I like that Perth’s fashion has a strong focus on independent boutiques and local designers, but sometimes you just want a shopping mall experience with a range of well-​known labels all in the same spot. The Enex100 delivers on that front in a similar fashion to the Claremont Quarter, housing Marcs, Scanlan and Theodore, Tiger Lily, Dangerfield, French Connection and Jack London (just to name a few). As the brands reflect, it’s mid to high range in here, so expect to pay upwards of $ 200 for most items.

I really like this place, it looks cool from the outside and it has some very cool shops on the inside. It is home to my absolute favourite store, Dangerfield and has a few other favourites of mine, like FCUK. There is a Woolworths of the bottom floor, that is actually really good, I kind of didn’t expect it, but it is a great places to grab some food shopping.
The food court on the top level is also quite nice, with some food booths you wouldn’t normally find in food courts. The favourite for me being the pizza place, if you go there after for you will score some real bargains.
All in all there are a lot of cool places, some on the slightly classy side, and a few mens clothing stores too which is also a good thing!

Enex 100 is a fancy name for a pretty average place really. They have gone all out to get your attention with lots of shiny metal, marble and glass. It is like a C grade celebrity trying desperately to get some attention, from anyone for any reason. Like many places in Perth at the moment, it lacks character and soul that makes you want to spend a lot of time here. It is full of over priced and boring shops, it does have some nice places in the food court.

Shiny, expensive and covered in strange modern-​art inspired light fittings, EnEx 100 is one of Perth’s newest shopping arcades. It houses many luxury clothing brands, a Woolworths, some chain entertainment stores including JB Hifi and the best food court in the country. I’m not exaggerating here; I’ve travelled far and wide, eating food in the cheapest places possible, and I can tell you that this joint is amazing. Any food-​mood (especially any Asian food mood) is more than catered for here, with a wide variety of dishes at low prices. My personal favourite is the Vietnamese place in the back corner, but the Thai joint is pretty rocking too. During Perth’s frequent heatwaves, EnEx 100’s air conditioning is a life saver. I’ve often found myself wandering around clothes shops because I just don’t want to leave the cool comfort inside. This is a great arcade and well worth visiting.

Enex 100 is a pretty spacey name for a shopping complex that seems stuck in the Naughties. With all the cash investment put into this place, you’d have thought there’d be more avant garde designer wares on offer, but instead there’s much of the same ol’ same ol’.
Despite its expansive shiny marble and always wonderfully Windexed glass, here are some things about Enex that don’t quite sparkle or shine:
* The unapproachable beanpole staff at Calibre. You’re store attendants, people, not supermodels.
* Ditto Jack London.
* The OD-​ing of Asian cuisine ‘options’ in the food court.
* The diluted product in JB HiFi here.
* Unwarranted markups in prices of some Woolworths products seen elsewhere around for cheaper.
That’s all.

Men and women are both winners (or losers depending on how you look at it) with this mid-​to-​high end retail space smack bang in the middle of the city. Housing local designer menswear Jack London and Calibre, as well as international unisex faves Marcs and Calvin Klein, plus a bunch of women’s stores such as Gorman, Mimco, Lisa Ho, Witchery and NineWest, the building covers quite the spectrum of styles, tastes and ages. Up top is also a pretty cool food podium (read: food court), with Thai, Japanese, Italian, Singaporean, none of the fast food outlets you’d expect to see. This is fancy stuff.

Recently Perth has been going through a bit of renovation. New buildings are cropping up everywhere, the largest skyscraper is halfway done, the new stadium while close to being finished is looking like a K’NEX toy, the Perth underground train station now has a huge glass food court, office spaces and The Aviary bar above it. But also, on Hay Street is a new retail building, Enex 100. Next to this light, airy building the rest of the street looks cluttered and grimey. But if you walk quickly into Enex you’ll forget what was outside and appreciate the quality of their atrium. Enex does provide a walkway through to St George’s Terrace, but on each side of the first floor are high quality fashion, stationery and beauty stores. This includes the likes of French Connection, Jack London, Mimco, Kit, Lisa Ho, Kikki. K and Nine West. Upstairs you’ll find your CD, DVD, and gaming needs met, along with a high quality food court. With Italian, Chinese, Japanese and many other types of cuisine, there is also a balcony to sit and eat in the fresh air with a newspaper. On the basement level there is a large Woolworths store where any city residents can go for their groceries or passers by can pick up any necessities.
The building is also used as a gallery space, recently they showcased a collection of the Mad Men fashion, and offered shoppers a chance to receive a free copy of the stylists guide to the show if they spent a certain amount at any of the stores in the building. Perth City is clearly using this space to create a high class atmosphere and allowing a place for people to go and feel a little special and perhaps see an interesting exhibition.
