Went there a couple of years ago and devoured a beautiful goat curry. Have been back a couple of times & found dishes ok but a little bland. Bit expensive for OK food.

After a heavy night out and a temperature of 36 degrees at night time, you don’t really think about indian food :) But when i want something specific then i go for it. I can’t say alot of things about the service because i did take away. It was lovely cool inside and the girl behind the till was very kind. When we ordered the sambal chicken, she let us know that is was very spicy. I like that they share their product knowledge. When we asked for rice, she suggested that one portion would be enough for the both of us. this is honest and not just focussed on money! So we had, sambal chicken, beef with nuts(don’t remember the exact name), rice, garlic naan and 2 vege samosa’s(i just ordered one per person because previous reviews warned me about the size). Everything was delicious! $ 27 each and enough for lunch the next day! Thanks and see you soon! X

Lovely ambiance and great Indian food. The portions are large, especially the dosa. Always a nice meal here — dependable.

Conveniently located South Fremantle Indian takeaway that delivers on quantity & quality. I had a spice urge that only Indian can fill but my regular place was shut on a Sunday so I ordered here based on Unilocal reviews. I’ve never eaten samosas so large. Pyramids of food. Worth the $ 3 by far and easily replaced my need for naan bread. The main I ordered was Malibu Beef & it was delicious but coconut flavour was lost. I plan to go back. The service was nice too.

My eggplant curry was good, but my friend was ill after his chicken one. Also we asked for a curry that wasn’t tomato based due to an allergy and they couldn’t figure it out. I hounded them until they all-of-a-sudden decided that they did have a curry that wasn’t tomato based. There’s heaps better Indian on Carrington Street in Hilton, and it’s cheaper with bigger portions and super friendly service.

Good things come down the chimney, Santa Claus, presents, amazing Indian food. If you’ve always wanted to attempt to eat something bigger than your own head, go straight for the dosa. I guarantee it will BLOW.YOUR.MIND. A giant crisp wafer thin crêpe made from chickpea flour envelops a wonderfully spiced filling of your choice. I’d go the classic masala dosa every time(bonus: it’s vegan!) It comes with the traditional accompaniments including sambar(a delicious aromatic curry sauce), coconut and coriander chutney which are perfect cool compliments to the rich spices. Great, authentic food in a warm, comfortable, welcoming atmosphere. The staff are super friendly and the service is great.

Great flavours. Had the house goat, an okra dish and dry curried prawns. All delicious and very fresh tasting curries. Desert were superb coconut, cashew or pistachio squares. Brilliant service, attentive but not annoying. Def worth a look.

As anyone who reads my reviews will know, I do love a good curry and the copper chimney is up there with the best around. Compared to other curry places in the area the value for money is second to none, good quality food, friendly staff and really nice interior. Don’t make the same mistake we did the first time we went here and order too many starters and not be able to eat any mains as the portions are huge. My favourite starters are the chilli chicken which is a taste sensation and the tandoori paneer tikka. When we eventually got round to going back and eating a main we found that the mains where just as delicious as the starters. I’m not really a sweet person but apparently their sweets are really good too. If I could give this place ten stars I would.

Well what a find this was! We found the menu for Copper Chimney in our rented apartment and that got us to thinking that maybe Indian for dinner would be a good idea. A quick cross-check on Unilocal and it was decided. Curries for dinner it was! We rang to place a take-out order and then patiently waited the 25 mintues before we could pick it up. As I entered, I was warmly welcomed, my payment efficiently taken and then kindly offered to a table to wait for a few moments while the order was put together. And then when it was delivered to my table I had serious ordering regret. It was clear that I had ordered far too much food for two people when the giant bag of boxes was handed over, along with a massive pizza box. «A pizza box?» you ask? Yup, that was for gigantic masala dosa which when eaten with the accompanying pots of light soupy dhal and coconut«stuff» was a meal in itself. Everything we had was beautiful, though it must be noted that dishes that sounded mild in their description were actually a little fiery. I was a-ok with this(the hotter the better I say!) but my dining companion is sensitive to chili and found some items(like the vegetable briyani) a little too hot to handle. We ate until we could eat no more… and then ate some more than next night for dinner! One of the best Indian take aways I’ve had in a long time. Nice job Copper Chimney

Excellent food and excellent service. Get in early, it is always busy. We have been a couple of times, and have also had their take away. Good variety of dishes and nice range of heat. The waiters are also realistc in how much you should order for your party. Hope they are here to stay, we will be back!

A great new restaurant with a broad and interesting Indian menu. They coped well with a full restaurant and each dish was well prepared, beautifully cooked and nicely presented. Service was friendly and welcoming; we will definitely be back for more
