Alinta Assist

I came home the other day to find my driveway wet. Now, at first I didn’t really think much of it. But then I started to think. It hadn’t been raining. The sprinklers hadn’t been on my front lawn or the neighbours. Where was the water from?
After a little investigation I find it coming from my garage wall and there was a lot of it. The garden around it was absolutely soaked. A quick google search took me to Alinta Assist. I called them and they organised to come the next day.
They get bonus points because they told me it would be sometime in the morning, but they would ring when they were on their way. The big shock was they actually did. I got a phone call advising me that they were 30 minutes away and was that okay. That was great. Much better than sitting around waiting all day wanting to pop down the shops for 5 minutes, only to find you have missed them. Around 30 minutes later the guy was there, knocking at my door. He dug up some dirt, took one look at what was going on and managed to fix it all within 10 minutes. It cost me a couple of hundred dollars, mostly a call out fee which is standard.
My one issue is that they didn’t tell me that they could fill out a form to give to the water corp so that I could have my bigger than normal water bill reduced somewhat. I had to chase head office to get that done later.
