Couldn’t even get our coffee orders right unfortunately this is a monopoly on hot drinks in the domestic departure lounge and they treat it like they have monopoly.

I know Dome have a monopoly on hot meals at the domestic terminal but does that mean that they can’t be good?
The poached eggs are always over cooked and today a piece of the toast was soaked with water, not cool.
My pot of tea didn’t arrive before, during or after my meal so I had to get a refund.

I’m not a fan of Dome at the best of times, but the one at the Perth Domestic Airport is definitely the worst I’ve been to. Yeah, the coffee is good (so I hear), and I used to be a fan of their fluffy koalas, but value for money isn’t really a Dome thing, and at the airport that’s a tall order for any of their shops, let alone Dome.
I think due to being over crowded ALL the time — what with people rushing to and from constantly, hopping on and off planes — Dome at the airport has let quality slip in order to try and serve people that little bit faster. Which I might be able to understand if the service wasn’t so slow.
So if you’re after coffee at the airport, head past Dome to one of the smaller shops, like Hudson’s. Believe me, you’ll be glad you did.
