Goodlife Gym

Been going to this gym for a few years now. The gym is small but clean, and well equipped with mostly new machines. Staff are well dressed, and good mannered, but not very helpful. No one (staff or members) puts their weights or equipment away after use, and I guess I am just used to some of the rudest people located in Cottesloe. If you are in their way, they’ll push you aside, or climb over the top of you.

I’ve been going to mount Lawley good life for the past couple of months but being in the area for work I thought id check out the Cottesloe gym. Hmmm… I can’t really decide on this one, definitely not as good as mount Lawley!
It is location isn’t the Cottesloe grove (not sure if it’s still called that?). The gym is a lot smaller and I don’t like the fact that the lockers don’t have locks and the showers don’t have soap dispensers incase you forgot your own soap (unlike the mount Lawley one). However, the equipment is the same and does the trick so I don’t mind stopping in here if I’m close by!

The only reason I originally joined this gym was because it was the closest to me. There is a lack of decent gyms in the western suburbs, everyone must simply walk their dogs for exercise or maybe they have pts come to their house, who knows. Anyway, I am delighted I joined. Their opening hours suit everyone and the staff is so friendly from sales to reception and the trainers. My free induction was very informative if not painful.
There are plenty of group exercise classes and if you don’t fancy it you can always spy on the zumba class for entertainment form your cross trainer.
It isn’t the biggest gym in the world but with a passport membership you can use any other goodlife gym in the country, how handy!

Situated in the heart of the western suburbs Goodlife Gym is a brilliant place for normal people to go and work out.
I have been going to various gyms around Perth for 10 years and inevitably there is the bunch of turbo douche bags admiring themselves in the mirror, making moronic conversation with their dick friends about protein shakes and generally ruining it.
The great thing about Goodlife Cottesloe is that these dickheads are few and far between.
As far as the gym itself goes pretty much all the machines and free weights are brand new, and there are a bunch of treadmills and cross trainers. There’s a boxing ring which seems under utilised, and the same goes for the spin class room. The group class room on the other hand is almost always full.
Membership is about $ 70 a month depending on how you choose to pay so not too expensive, and that gives you access to all the other Goodlife branded gyms around Perth.
A great place to workout without any hassle, and from my point of view more than a few good looking girls around!
