Java Lava

The café has a nice atmosphere and attempts to supply a healthy environment. I came here with low expectations however I became surprised with the efficiency of the food and how fast it had arrived.
What I am most pleased with was the all day breakfast. I had ordered an eggs Benedict at 4:30 pm.
There however was a small piece of a sponge stuck on the basket for chips but that was probably only from hardcore rough scrubbing.
Some tables were not wiped down but eventually were.
I was happy on how the restaurant had various options to cater for vegans and vegetarians.
All in all a good experience of your looking for a pleasant atmosphere

Stopped in for a quick cup of coffee. Crockery seemed nice and place is clean and neat. Unfortunately the coffee tasted like international roast, terrible. A good barista could not make this stuff taste better. Change the coffee and this place may actually rate, keep this stuff and you will never go anywhere

Didn’t even get a chance to eat there, sat down out the front and was surrounded by smokers. Being asthmatic I asked if we could sit inside and fair enough they were busy. The lady was very nice but letting people smoke in a semi outdoor area where food is served is bad business. I don’t think it’s worth the cancer or an asthma attack.
