Had a dinner catch up with friends here. We got there around 6.30pm and place had a lot of seats still available. Opted to sit outside under the heaters. For starters we got the Satay chicken and money bags. The money bags had a lot of coconut in it but still tasty. For mains we got the Chicken pad se ew, Beef masaman curry, Beef oyster sauce and the Chicken satay stir fry all to share among 4 people. Overall, all dishes were quite tasty. Especially the Masaman beef so tender! Service was good and i had the ping pong cocktail with lychees and that was sweet and not too strong alcohol wise and so it complemented the meals.

This is the best Thai food in the area! Has that authentic taste and feel. I think I’ve ordered almost everything from here and I’ve never been disappointed. Can’t go past the crab fried rice, salt and pepper calamari or even the curry puffs! If you want to play it safe, the pad Thai is always great! But live a little! Go for the duck dishes or the volcano from the sea! Mmmmm! Don’t forget to order a fresh coconut water to top your experience.

This is one our all time favourite Thai restaurants. The food here is consistently amazing and fresh. The service is fast and friendly every time. Booking on a Saturday night are a must as it gets quite busy.

I recently went back to Sauté for a another meal with a friend during the day. The service is still exceptional and the food as good as I can remember. This time I had the entrée Duck Herb — a strange name for a plate I could have eaten for a main meal. It was a delightful plate of shredded duck meat with a vinegarette of chopped herbs and spices. It had a mild buzz to the back of the palate and was served in small lettuce leaves rather like San Choy bow. I would order that again. I then had the wagyu beef in strips with vegetables. It was nice but the duck ruined it for me, I liked it so much I just wanted to order more. While we were there the young girl serving spent her whole time cleaning before the next shift of staff appeared. She polished everything, her boss sure got his money’s worth. All the staff are friendly and the food is excellent, I won’t be leaving it so long between visits next time.

This is my go to Thai in Parramatta. I’m never disappointed with the food there. Especially their Moneybags. Honestly, those bags of goodness should be used as currency. I love their mocktail menu. It’s always nice to see a mocktail menu that is more interesting and varied than the cocktail one. Their servings are always generous and their food is always fresh. None of that chewy reheated chicken and beef here! I would strongly recommend trying the BBQ Chicken or Beef. It’s seasoned with herbs and grilled and it just divine. One thing that does frustrate me here and the only reason I won’t give it 5 stars is the epic struggle I face every time I order here… the staff cannot understand what I say and I can’t understand what they say… But to be fair, they’ve never got an order wrong or brought out the wrong food.

Herbal lychee smoothie, duck curry, hot and sour soup, soft shell crab, all great dishes for a great night out with some company. Nice ambiance.

Not being on church street I have overlooked this place on every visit to Parra. Not on this visit. Usually you only remember when things are good or when things are bad about this place. I went to this restaurant over a month ago and only remember one thing about it — the fried ice-cream had been fried for too long that the insides had half melted. Utter sadness to end the meal. I’m sure it must’ve been a one-off but just be careful all you fried ice-cream lovers out there! So I’m gonna give them the benefit of the doubt and award them a 3⁄5. I’m so nice!
