I’ve been here quite a few times last year and the food and portion sizes were always great and generous. I went back today and was really disappointed by both the food and service. I ordered a chorizo, mushroom and rocket sandwich; my friend ordered French toast with berry compote. My friend didn’t really like how the French toast tasted and they got my order wrong twice, even though they were not particularly busy. They sent me the chicken avo and Brie toastie twice. Even though they were polite about it, I feel like their service was pretty lacking. When my order eventually came out, it was really oily and pretty average. I don’t like to make a fuss about stuff like that — I get it people make mistakes. But I would’ve like to see them maybe offer a discount or some incentive for me to come back. Perhaps we ordered the wrong things but it does seem like there was a changing of ownership. The staff are all different and they also don’t serve the crepes menu anymore. Overall the dining experience was very average. Who knows? Maybe it was just a bad day but I’m not itching to go back.

We had an awesome brunch here, they had a burger special on for $ 9.95 which was awesome! The service is also really good and the place is cosy for little catch ups.

Lovely coffee, friendly service, and best of all — open. The music isn’t too loud either, and it’s far enough away from the dodgy area near the train station.

A new café long the main strip has its challenges but this one still maintains it’s innocence. Invited to and in we go for more than a coffee. Very hungry and very eager to try the ever joining list of serious small cafes popping up in Parramatta, I was surprised it was empty inside but being also positive that only meant more quicker survive for us. Most people don’t seem now to have the time and just order coffees to go. We sat down to this blacken café with typical objects aligning the wall associated with the name La Roué. You can tell this place is new and more association is needed for more character. Their menu is certainly quite extensive and split into categories including the specials and popular ones. I’ll feast on their popular but typical big breakfast as well eyeing a muffin for later. I was hungry. For some reason, I like heavy European accent service. French and Italian guys shouting at each other is charming. For under $ 17 I certainly did receive what the menu promised on a popular scale. This was a lot! Good! The scrambled eggs were very creamy. Totally delicious with a mix of spinach and mushrooms and 2 big sausages, chicken and lamb all on 2 big proper breakfast bread. A big serving of beans too for dipping. Did I mention this dish was big? I couldn’t eat more after this and was happy but disappointed when was told their muffins made daily and daily different. The banana muffin that got away. Instead a doppio to top it off as greatest with a big smile and almost high five. He was eager to make a serious coffee for once it seemed. A good lingering taste of Campos origins. If your looking for a good feed for a good price, La Roué will satisfy waddling away. Thank you John of Ermington. Mark My Words
