My partner has been coming to this place for years. We came for a checkup and had Cindy Tseu give us both the once over. They have some pretty cool tech. Takes photos of your eye internals that you can see on screen, test pressure reactions (a puff of air that tests elasticity) and the normal eye tests to see what kind of focus you have.
Cindy is very friendly and would be glad to head back — lovely manner. She doesn’t try to sell you something if you don’t have any issues (neither of us did) which is good, and they have the quick Medicare system so you just have to pay the extra.

I love glasses, sometimes I wish I needed them (without the inconvenience of not being able to see properly without them), I just want them as a fashion accessory. Eyeballs Eyewear on Oxford Street in Paddington certainly capitalises on this obsession, as they stock some seriously stylish eyewear, and they cater to all our fashion obsessions as they sell both prescription glasses and sunglasses.
All the higher end glasses shops are stocking Tom Ford at the moment and so they should, his sunglasses are amazing, some of the best designs I have ever seen. Another great brand Eyeballs are offering is Mykita who are a German brand providing extremely funky, Hi tech yet well made eyewear. Lindberg is another brand on offer, which is a little more classic and demure, but none the less stylish.
