Probably fine if you have unbreakable goods or goods of low value that you don’t mind getting damaged. Many items damaged during the move, most upsetting was my 3 week old expensive stainless steel fridge which now has a large scratch & big dent in the stainless steel. The damage was done in front of me as one worker pulled the fridge through the front door, the other worker was on the truck out of sight. They both flat out lied about what occured & there was only myself present so the director will not take responsibility. He also informed me that the company is not responsible for the large broken mirror & picture (or any broken glass), the damage to a birthday present rocking chair & so on. Annoyingly they placed name stickers all over the front & tops of furniture leaving residue & peeling off varnish when removed — all companies in the past have placed these on the back. There are also stickers with someone else’s name on most of my goods? Thankfully they didn’t move my electronic items — can’t imagine what they could do to a tv or computer equipment! The hourly rate seemed attractive & I expected some padding — but not worth the outcome.
