Came here with mum and a couple of friends because mum is always raving about the place. Sadly, I don’t think I got to see it at it’s best as it was packed out and very cramped. What a gorgeous place with a stunning view. The breeze that comes in under the verandah is amazing and makes the hottest day feel nice. The food was over priced in my opinion, but tasted great and I loved the share platters. The cheese was soft, fresh and amazing and the fruit was plump and sweet. Boo had an absolute ball playing on the grass(and trying to join other peoples tables) and really enjoyed her food. I think if they opened the area out a bit(or perhaps took a few tables away) this would be the stunning area that it could be.

Pizza. Views. Wine. Nothing more — nothing less. We drove here on a warm summer Sunday and this wonderful place was like an oasis in the scrub. A beautiful view — unfortunately we couldn’t see it too well from our table at the back, but the atmosphere was relaxed enough to enjoy a stroll around the grounds. We had bread and dukkah(a bit unnecceary for the two of us, and more than slightly overpriced) and a pizza with the lot. The pizza came out in less than 10 minutes, piping hot and crisp on the bottom. They must have a very hardworking team at their pizza oven! With a glass of temperanillo Rose I was in heaven. The Toff’s pilsner went down a treat on the other side of the table. After finishing every scrap of the delicious pizza, we wandered inside for a wine tasting. The winemaker was all too happy to chat, and we left with a crisp Sauv Blanc, a silky Petit Verdot and a sneaky Sticky Sem. The spicy but light Temperanillo and very girly Sparkling Blush were also standouts for me. I’ll be looking out for these when I need to take something to a dinner party. Book ahead here if you have your heart set on pizza or a cheese platter, especially if you have more than two people, it was busy-busy! There’s not too many other places nearby so save yourself disappointment and a long hungry drive to Salisbury. If you’re after a more structured, substantial meal than pizza then save this for another day.

Nice set up and view, a bit congested but if it’s a good day the seats outside are nice. Some easy drinking well priced gimmicky wines(which the girls liked) including a good red wine are available to accompany the food. For such a long drive you would expect a lunch with fresh local produce but all they offer is set pre made pizza or bruschetta and that’s it. The pizza was your standard Pizza Hut type deep pan pizza and no beer is available. They can’t make ‘flat whites’ well. If on a budget and you just want a big slice of pizza and a glass of wine then this place is perfect but the winery lunch has moved so far from this place in recent years. Even with the pizzas after getting used to gourmet wood fired thin pizzas now available in so many places it was a bit hard going back to these old style thick greasy cheesey salty Pizzas. The bruschetta was good though but after that you don’t feel like more of the same on a pizza. I suspect they cater mostly to locals and they do what they do well. With their set system they can serve a large number of people quickly so unlike other winery restaurants that try to get too complex you won’t have to wait long. Great lawn area for kids and a great place for a big group on a budget. The service was prompt and everything was hot.

We were taking here by some friends, we had never actually heard of it before hand but extremely glad we went. Its beautiful, we sat outside even in winter it was quite cozy with the outdoor heating. I blindly ordered a glass of Sav and it was delicious, my partner and his friend ordered a bottle of Tempranillo which they gladly bought a bottle of on the way out. He still talks about how great it was. They do a range of wood oven pizzas, and they are simply incredible. The base is light and crunchy with a good amount of topping without turning it into a greasy overflowing mess. My favourite was actually the margarita, I have never chosen to order one but extremely glad I did. It was delicate and crunchy, everyone at the table raved about it. Already cannot wait to get back there.

Relaxing place for lunch on a Saturday arvo Scenery is tranquil even on a rainy day; menu is limited but it’s not a problem as whatever you order, you wont get disappointed The food has a tapas feel about it; socialising, sharing, enjoying each others company.

My friend saw this place a few weeks ago and wanted to stop in when I came to visit. Boy am I glad we did! This winery is only about 15 minutes from my friend’s house and the view was splendid. We drove up to a packed parking lot and were hoping we’d find a seat. It’s a boutique winery only open on the weekends. After heading straight to the open lawn and taking in the scenery, we headed inside to see if they had tastings available. They place all the bottles on the counter that they are available to taste so sometimes the items on the tasting menu they have in front of you isn’t the same. The man who started our tasting for us wasn’t the kindest and that’s unfortunate because it cost the place a star. He was short and got us started for our tasting but then started serving other customers that came in. Another staff member continued and served us a few other options but a smile and a little more attentiveness to your customers would go along way. I loved the 2013 Sparkling Frontignac. OMG! It was very me. It’s fresh, crispy, bubbly, and has touches of peach! I love peaches and the sip from start to finish was great! I really wish that I had purchased a bottle now. The food coming from the kitchen smelled wonderful! They had cheese platters, brushetta, and pizzas available. I wish we could come a little later so we could have had lunch but we started our tour here and ended up having coffees or a glass of sparkling in my case! Great place where I saw families with kids, big groups, a 50th birthday celebration, and couples. It’s a place for everyone!
