Love this place. Great cakes. You have to try the Coko. It’s delicious. Great coffee and cakes. My new favourite place.

I have been visiting Niko’s for many years and was first introduced by a Greek friend and the only thing that has changed is how difficult it is to find parking in Oakleigh.
I recently visited and walked home with a full box of 6 desserts for under $ 30.
Usual favourites:
–Galatoboureko: Greek custard pie which tastes wonderful when heated up for 20 seconds or so and add it with ice-​cream
–Baklava
–Gourabiedes: Almond crescents with icing sugar on top
Niko’s has food and drinks as well with seating inside and outside however I still prefer to get take-​away and tuck into all the desserts at home in my stretchy pants.

Stopped by here for an afternoon coffee yesterday with a group of friends and wasn’t impressed at all.
Coffee was tepid when it arrived and the cakes which were ordered were nowhere to be seen. After about 15 minutes and a couple of complaints the cakes arrived which were hurriedly eaten in an attempt to escape the smoke filled establishment before the emphysema sets in. I won’t be back any time soon.

This place is an absolute joke. 1 hour wait for 3 poached eggs on spinach. They came out hard and 1 egg short. 15 minutes later the 3rd egg came
itself. Lift your game and stop relying on convenience of location for business. We won’t be back
