You have got to be kidding me. This place is the pits. Corporate franchise jumping on the Mexican bandwagon. It’s nothing like real Mexican, it’s over priced with small servings and is nothing like Chipotle which it is evidently trying to be. Go home, chuck some baked beans and lays chips in the microwave… Will give you much better nachos.

For Mexican in Sydney this place is good with the burrito’s… but to be fair, it’s pretty hard to stuff up a burrito! And to be fair again, there’s a lot of places that do stuff it up… Except this place doesn’t! If you’re up for quick and easy Mexican then this is probably the joint for you. They offer margarita’s as well, which I haven’t tasted because I had to dash off to my Physio and there’s no point going there a bit sloshed! I’m not sure what else is on their menu as I just wanted something quick, easy and relatively healthy to go. It has some seating inside and only one long table for bigger groups. Seating is limited as it’s not such a huge space to allow for a lot of seating. It was pretty empty when I walked in but then it was also about 5pm. Unfortunately this place is definiately not my perfect Mexican in Sydney place at all. the hunt continues!

Mad Mex has become my favourite spot for a quick lunch. It’s menu is broad enough to meet most tastes, although I was disappointed to discover that their spicy meat option was only a limited time offer. Friendly, fast and efficient service, many are licenced, and fresh tasty food.
