Really nice food, chill atmosphere with both indoor and outdoor seating and Motown music playing, tucked away on a shady side street, and an eclectic group of patrons. I tried the pork meatballs and the stuffed chicken — both of which were solid picks. I would definitely come back here.

I only rate it 3 stars, but probably because I’ve had the real thing in Spain and all food there is just so over-the-top great there that it makes it hard for anyplace else to measure up. I had the Sardines, since they looked so good in the picture here on Unilocal, and I was happy with those as a starter. I then had the pork belly, and while I can’t remember if that was a standard menu item or a special at the time, it was good. I liked that they cooked the skin to be very crispy but that fat layer underneath was not overdone and so was still there to add a lot of flavor to the dish. My favorite part of the meal was the excellent sangria! Definitely give that a try. Overall it was pretty good food, but they do have some odd hours so check first before you go.

Tucked away in the centre of Hunter Street Mall, this Spanish themed tapas restaurant is warm and inviting. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the food is divine with plenty of variety. A little pricey, but totally worth it. Check it out for sure next time you’re in Newy.
