G’s Wine Bar

G’s Wine Bar located on Griffith University’s Nathan campus is a refreshing take on the restaurants that one would normally associate with students or universities. It’s a far cry from regular sandwiches and burgers and instead replaces them with good meals like wild mushroom risotto or sirloin steak. The wine list is also quite extensive so matching the right wine with your food is quite easy even for those who are not that familiar with wines. Although G’s is primarily a wine bar they do cater for everyone as they have a fully functioning licensed bar as well. The service is quite good and the staff is friendly and although they are students they have a very professional work ethic. The prices are a little bit more than the norm for «student» meals but it is well worth it. G’s proves very popular for lunch, this might be slightly attributed to the fact that they are only open for lunch and breakfast however.
