Swish ‘N’ Chips

Reasonable fish, good chips. The bacon wrapped scallop skewer was’t bad, but pricey. Fish and chips used to be a cheap meal but no longer, the premium fish is priced at $ 19.00. Who remembers when $ 2.00 of chips feed the whole clan.

I go here regularly to get my chips, potato scallops and dim sims. (to go with the chicken I get next door)
On occassion I also get fish as well.
They have plenty of choices for their fish and it is all fresh. Also they have a variety of ways to cook the fish (ie. grill, fry, with spices). Their fish is expensive but fresh and I have found you generally get enough to feed 2 people in one serve, but it all depends on how many chips you plan to eat
Their chips are my favourite. I always ask for well done as I like them crispy. Majority of the time they are tasty. (if they are busy then special requests are not always completed).
They moved in late 2014 so the number of tables have reduced and they get the afternoon sun (none indoor). The staff have to squint when taking your order as the sun goes down!
