I’ve been wanting to go here for awhile and glad I finally did. Although should have waited until I was feeling better but the bartender took pity on my cold and offered to make me a hot toddy! This was a great start. Just what my mom would’ve done for me! Had a few glasses or Rose despite not feeling great and ordered a few plates. The dips(served with warm pita), the cured meats(served with 2 different types of mustard) and the spicy chicken skewers. All very good with great portion sizes. I have also heard that the polenta chips are amazing, so for next time. Seems like a great local establishment for dining ‘al fresco’ as I was told by the nice gentleman when I was describing it as «semi outdoors.» Lots of locals and friendly people and good people watching. Although I could’ve done without watching the 4 year old drive around in her mini Bentley.

Great little wine bar in Mosman with very friendly and expert service. The food is great but needs to change more often for we regulars. The wine list is OK but could do with a bigger range of choices and some Italian wine to go with the mainly domestic ones. Those gripes aside, a very friendly and fun place to eat and drink, particularly on a hot summer’s evening.

Very average service(one of the servers was actually quite rude). The menu sounded promising, but flavours were not very diverse. It was a nice atmosphere but overall a bit underwhelming.

I walked past here about 5 times wondering why I couldn’t find it — on the 6th time I saw the blacked out window with the message written on it(see photos). They had a fire, noooo! Was so keen to try this bar out. The good news is they’ll be re-opening just as soon as they can, at which point I’m making a bee line.

Terrific wine list. Great appetizers too. It’s a nice comfortable little place, with an extensive list of interesting worldwide wines, by the glass and bottle. We had a great Western Australia sem/sav bl. The food list had great variety. We had a goat cheese with olive oil and olives, accompanied by a huge pile of flat breads. Nice place for relaxing and people watching. Thanks Elsja H for the Unilocal Review that brought us here.

Went there when it first opened and it was pretty good which was probably 8 or 9 months ago. So I was enticed to try it again. WOW they have made this wine bar/tapas/snack/restaurant first class. The food was excellent and the service was fast and friendly. I had the king prawn salad and my wife had the buffalo cheese with fig and grapes. Both dishes were delicious and the dressings were to die for. We followed up with trifle for desert. Outstanding and very different. Try it you won’t be sorry.

EDITED: Ok so I’ve been back a few times now and this place keeps getting better and better. I think they made a few changes to the menu and the last time we went, everything we ordered was delicious. The service is also some of the best we’ve seen in Sydney. My husband raves about the service to anyone he can tell– particularly from James. We love that guy and will go back again and again because of him! *** Finally a cool little wine bar/restaurant within walking distance of my house(which isn’t Thai). We really enjoyed our night here a few weeks ago and even though it was packed, the service was great. They made every effort to get us the table we preferred and were super friendly and attentive. The polenta(which I normally don’t like) was probably the best I’ve ever had. Unfortunately other than that, the food was a bit average. I was pretty bummed about that because I’d love to head back here for dinner. It wasn’t really bad, but nothing else really stands out too me, nothing else was memorable, other than the overpriced tiny hot dogs(probably wouldn’t recommend). Drinks were great though and they even had Fireball, my favourite liqueur. I tried a cocktail made with fireball and while it was good, it was a bit sweet and the bartender was great and made my second glass a bit more tangy. Looking forward to going back for drinks, I may just head next door and get some Italian for dinner first.

An honest to goodness wine bar with nibbles to boot. Right here in downtown Mosman. About time!!! Wine selection is pretty good — we had a couple of different reds which were very good and not too expensive. We also had the cheese tray which was very yummy. Décor is a little funky, but only if you look up to the ceiling. Otherwise you’d hardly notice as it’s pretty dark in there.

Well look-y there Mosman, you finally have yourself a small bar! And while the Tarzan-meets-Mowgli Amazonian décor threw me for a loop in the daylight, once the sun set and the safari lamps lit up, the entire vibe of the venue felt like one large Ngorongoro Crater camp out. With booze. The menu mimicked some of the African themes, and I can personally vouch for the wild boar sausages with onions and spicy mustard(sorry Pumba), but it was really the three pages of cocktails that seemed to be the focus of the evening. The wine list was also respectable. And even though I was overcharged(by two mojitos — mine were faux-jitos), it’s still a spot I’d recommend swinging by if you’re in the area. In fact, grab those two lost mojitos — tell them Laura already picked them up for you.
