Blue Myth

Call them on the phone before you go there, I believe it closed end of April 2014 for a refurbish but of a couple of weeks ago I think it was stll closed.

I came here last night with my family to use a scoopon we bought for $ 55.
I must admit for 4 people I didn’t expect to see as much food as we did.
We had chips, salad, pita bread with 2 dips, haloumi and a lamb and eggplant main dish.
I have grown accustomed to scoopon places luring you in only to offer a tidbit of their menu and then convince you to spend more but at Blue Myth they gave us generous servings full of flavour!
The Restaurant waitresses were super affable and lovely. She did let us know that there would be a slight delay on the lamb and eggplant main dish but we did not even notice there was a delay!
I will be back again to Blue Myth as it was delicious and the service is beyond what you tend to find in a lot of Perth restaurants.

I live 5 minutes from here and i only just realised how amazing it is!
We ventured to the Coventry markets for lunch, It’s not a place i usually visit however I’m definitely going to make an appearance there more often.
Blue Myth can be seen from Walter road, it has a fresh Mediterranean style interior with accents of blue and grey with lovely paintings of the Greek islands adorning the walls.
We were greeted by a friendly lady who i suspect may have been one of the owners. she talked through the menu with us, gave some suggestions and also told us about the new Margarita cocktails they are now serving!
I went for a salad, — baby spinach, sweet potato and beetroot… sound boring? Well it wasn’t! it was beautiful, lots of ingredients (it wasn’t 90% lettuce like some restaurants give you) and was dressed with a honey and candied balsamic glaze… yummmm!
My boyfriend got the lunch special– Calamari with chips and salad– he said it was really, really good! A generous portion and for only $ 15!
We will definitely be going back for dinner, our waitress said on Friday nights they have a belly dancer and on Saturday nights they have greek dancers, she said it’s great to come in a group and everyone gets involved!
Sounds fun!

Sunday night and it was a bit too hot, so of course I had no intention of cooking. After searching on the net for somewhere a little different we decided on a new restaurant at Morley Markets. I was dubious at first, as come on folks we all know that market style of fast food eating. This restaurant is definitely not like that at all.
Blue Myth has its own frontage on Walter Road. Very appealing from the outside and the inside. Not like a market place at all. Lovely fresh new décor, I loved the crisp fresh look. Very Mediterranean, There are a few large yucca style planters in lovely blue containers on the restaurant floor. A lovely ceiling feature with lots of sparkling small lights. The place is so clean the cutlery sparkles, i was so impressed. The kitchen is also on view through a horizontal style serving hatch, every thing looks pristine.
We were shown to a table and greeted very warmly by a lovely lady. She took our BYO wine and poured for us. The beer was promptly taken to the fridge.
The atmosphere was lovely and the staff very attentive. We were attended to most of the time by a lovely young girl called Kayley. Our water glasses were filled regular and we felt very well looked after indeed.
We studied the menu and it became a difficult choice as it all sounded so divine. To solve the decision making we decided on the set menu. For $ 49.95 per person. Starter a trio of dips with lovely bread, was gorgeous. Next came some beautiful tender calamari, it was delicious. Main course 3 different Greek recipe grilled meats, pork, lamb, chicken, along with the loveliest fresh Greek salad, and herb potato slices. Dessert included. The whole meal was fabulous, the attentive staff made this a very good experience.
I highly recommend this new found treasure and I am delighted to recommend this restaurant to everyone. We will most certainly visit this gorgeous place again. Great service, lovely restaurant, attentive staff, wow!
