I don’t usually write restaurant reviews but feel compelled to do so for Genki Noodles and Sushi. Genki truly deserves 5 stars in all aspects — great food, especially Singapore noodles, Fried Kwai Teow, Hokkien Mee; excellent customer service, not to mention cleanliness of the restaurant.
Being a Malaysian, I was wary of Malaysian food in Australia. To my surprise, the restaurant’s authentic yet unique style of Malaysian spices made me feel right at home!

I decided to pop in for a quick bite whilst I was shopping at the nearby D.F.O
I decided I’d try both the supreme noodles and some sushi as well… big mistake.
There was no way I was going to be able to finish the contents of both the deceptively small noodle container along with the sushi in one go.
The noodles were delicious, piping hot with large prawns easy to find. The sushi was freshly rolled and also extremely palatable.
For the record, I did manage to finish the meal however my shopping trip was cut short on account of my gluttony :)

A great mix of noodle and soup options as well as some sushi. Great for a quick lazy meal on a weeknight, generally with enough leftover for lunch the next day.
