I recently recarpeted a large section of my home. I wanted something hardy because I have put it off for years due to all the stuff we had to move, particularly a very heavy pool table, and no way did I ever want to have to do it again if I could help it. I actually found something I liked in a clearance sale catalogue and called Matt at the marion store. After emailing him my house plans with room dimensions he confirmed the price and details and gave me a time for installation. He could even take my deposit by credit card over the phone so I didn’t even have to go to the store at all (but I advise you probably should).
He again called a couple of days before the install to check everything was ok. Fortunately for us they had made an error in the warehouse and did not actually have our carpet at all, so to offer us the same pile and colour we got a free upgrade by two levels to extra heavy duty. With the heavy duty better underlay our carpet is so soft and springy. I love it! Couldn’t wait for the installer to leave so I could lay down and roll around on it — and don’t tell me you wouldn’t do the same thing!
Even without the lucky windfall we had, which is not at all common, the service here is fantastic from the salespeople to the labourers.
