I have a real love-hate relationship with Mirrabooka Village. I can not stand how the carpark is always full on Fridays because the Muslims park their cars there when they pray at the nearby Mosque. I can not stand the scamming European backpackers who stand at the entrance of the store rattling their so-called charity tins and I can not stand the drivers who have a blatant disregard to other people’s property when they park their cars. I have had three cars that suffered collision damage by morons who just drove off without leaving a note. I also can not stand the crime, one family member was violently bashed by three juvenile youths when they attempted to carjack her as she was loading her groceries into her vehicle. These juvenile youths were from an out-of-home care facility that is located close to Mirrabooka Village and were supposed to be under the Care of the State at the time. The only good thing I like about the Mirrabooka Village is the IGA. This must be one of the cheapest supermarkets in Perth. Cheap milk, cheap bread and cheap orange juice, just to name a few. But this is a prime example how the cheapest deal could cost you the most.
