How does one even put into words the turmoil and pain I have been through. I would write an award winning autobiography depicting my tale, but this store has taken too much of my energy. It all started last month, back when I was nothing more but a young, happy go lucky girl in need a cell phone. Oh what a fool I was back then. I went to this store and purchased a 16GB iPhone 4S. Or so I thought. Little did I know my so called«pals» had indeed deceived me, and instead sold me a faulty 8GB iPhone 4S. The battery would go flat at around 50%, and while I may not be a technological genius, something told me that just wasn’t correct. I made my merry way back to the store where the employee told be they would first have to test the phone to make sure I was not at fault. Then I could either have the phone repaired, receive a refund, or get it replaced. After the paternity tests proved that it indeed wasn’t me who stole half the phones gigabytes and battery life, I asked if I could just get the phone exchanged. Well déjà vu, karma, and Amen, this phone was broken too. A mere few days later I returned. This time was different though. No sir was I the chipper young lass I was last time, I was older, wiser, fed upper. How would I describe myself? Three words. Hard-working, Alpha male. Jackhammer. Merciless. Insatiable. I again shared my story, my struggles with one of the employes. She told me they would have to run a forensic data analysis to see if I was at fault but if I wasn’t I could either once again be re-issued a phone, or get this phone fixed. I told her that since this was my second time having this problem, I just wanted a refund, an end to my pain, to which she said okey dokey. I later returned, but unfortunately, while I was gone things changed. Joffrey Baratheon had taken over the iron throne, beheaded Ned Stark(spoiler), and also said no refunds. I was conflicted, confused over why my buddies would give me false information, a glimmer of hope in an increasingly dark world, and then snatch it from my young unsuspecting hands. They told me that they had a phone from a company that was testing it and assured that this time the phone would remember you need to stay on in order to make calls and take pictures of food. They offered taking my address so they could have it shipped straight to me and I wouldn’t have to return to this house of horrors. I agreed, and gave them my contact info. Flash forward 10 days, I have yet to receive a phone, or even a phone call for that matter explaining the lack of phone! I returned, this time weighed down by the pain of my past visits. The manager recognized me right away, «we still haven’t got it!» she told me, when I asked when they thought they would get it she gave me a definite, affirmative, «maybe Monday». Flash forward a week later, I once again returned. Dare I say I was a hint bit upset this time. I was told the phone had gotten lost in the mail, much like my patience had gotten lost in this stores bullshit. The manager told me that if the phone wasn’t here by Wednesday, shed drive there and get it. I told her we could all save some time by giving me my rightful refund. They said naw. I later checked their website, it turns out I am entitled to a refund within 8 days if I email them, which no one told me the second time I had this problem,(and it was definitely within 8 days). I have since emailed their corporate to see what will happen from here. With baited breath I wait, my trust depleted, and yet I cannot help but have a glisten of hope for the future.
