Scott Alley

Scott Alley is a perfect example of Melbourne’s rabbit-​warren laneway attractions. You wouldn’t naturally wander into this slim alley off Flinders Ln, but if you seek it out you’ll find a pleasant and charming row of boutiques with a surprise at the end: a bustling and noisy arcade of Asian eateries! Of course, cheap Asian lunches isn’t why many make this a mark on their map — the French crepery Roule Galette is a quaint and tiny hole in the wall that serves delicious and fresh sweet and savoury crepes, such as orange marmalade and chocolate or goat cheese and spinach. Project Runway Australia 2008 finalist Petrova Hammond also owns a fashion boutique here, Lady Petrova.
