Nine West

This glittering store sparkles and beckons at you with its magnificent looking display at the window, offering all the goodies us girls love (bags, shoes and accessories).
And then, well for me anyway, you walk in and all that glitters isn’t paved in gold. The wedges, heels and sparkling array of clutches and cutesy bags aren’t nearly as appealing as afar, and the excitement starts to dwindle.
It’s not just that their way waaaay over priced (average of $ 150 for bags and shoes, $ 50 for clutches and purses), its that for the price they’re just not that attractive. I’m addicted to shopping and when I see something I love (which, in a shop such as this is usually everything), my heart races, my head pounds I feel adrenaline! Well, this adrenalin deflated almost the minute I walked in the store.
The snooty salesgirl looking at me in a way that me feel I wasn’t good enough to actually enter the store didn’t help either. But in all the time I was there, I only spotted one to die for pair of shoes — in all the stock they have on the floor. It’s the Nicefit heeled sandals, but at $ 149 and with the way I was feeling I couldn’t justify the purchase. Go check ‘em out though and if you can afford the spend, your feet will love you!
I’m not a complete tightarse, I’ve guiltily spent too much on a couple of gorgeous Guess bags and countless shoes. Put frankly, Nine West just wasn’t worth the guilt to me. Even at $ 10 I probably wouldn’t have purchased anything. Apart from the Nicefits.
