This is such a cutely simple and trendy bakery café on Swanston Street. Although some of their sweet treats taste a little bready; they are great snacks to be enjoyed; and trust me: if you keep coming here every opportunity you get: sooner or later you are going to back off — you will get sick of coming here. Grab a tray and a pair of tongs and your ready to go. The french toast isn’t too bad, except when it is drizzled with way too much honey. Otherwise the chocolate bread horns are interesting. if it is coated with predominantly white chocolate; you will know that the filling inside is chocolate custard, and conversely if you know that the treat is coated with milk chocolate, then the filling inside is normal custard. The bread can overpower the chocolate sometimes, although their taro cakes are worth a try. Their cheese rolls with a hot dog frankfurt in them aren’t too bad: I especially love the drizzle of herbs; although the grease factor is way too much and can get a little overbearing. A great establishment to check out, although it isn’t one I would like to return to in a hurry. There is a lot more of Melbourne to explore and enjoy.
