Serendipity is without a doubt my favourite take home ice cream company. The Enmore rd shop front is right next to its factory and a stone throw away from bustling Newtown and Marrickville. This local company has won many many awards and wraps their tubs in newspaper for you to take it safely home. It feels so natural to wrap your icecream tubs in newspaper, I now refuse to carry any other ice cream tubs in a bag. Lots of parking outside and in front of a bus stop… Can someone get me some Serendipity now???

If I had my way, my diet would consist of coffee, French pastries, burgers, ramen and ice cream. Yeah I know gross. But if you are a fan of ice cream, read on. Most people have heard of Serendipity Ice Cream and associate it with being one of many gourmet ice cream brands currently on the market. But it never used to be that way. Serendipity was one of the first to introduce exotic ice cream flavours and this Australian-owned company is still one of the best. Although you can get Serendipity at most gourmet food stores, why not go the home of Serendipity, which has a much larger range of flavours for you to try and buy in bulk to take home. You can get tubs ranging from 120mL to 5 litres! And you won’t find flavours like Pear & Rhubarb Crumble, Wattle Seed, Peanut Butter Disaster! or Lamington in your local supermarket. The retail shopfront and adjoining factory is located in a suburban area so there is plenty of street parking. They also do other products such as sorbets, icecream cakes and desserts which can be made to order. So if you’re a foodie like me and don’t mind travelling for your food, check this place out so you stock your freezer!
