Been here twice standard Thai food, lunch special for $ 10.90. Both meals I’ve had were just ok, first was a Pad Thai and today I had a Pad See Ew nothing to rave about just ok.

for casual asian dining this checks all the boxes. Services, price, food taste and quality. For manly this is pretty good for good. We have been here 3 or 4 times since moving close by. when there are big groups of people it can get loud. I only gave it 3 starts because you still have to get up and pay your bill at the counter and they charge .50 cents for fortune cookies :(

As you’re no doubt aware, there is Asian food EVERYWHERE in Sydney; Thai, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Chinese is all readily available throughout the suburbs. Wok Bar, conversely, offers a fusion of all these cultures’ foods. If you’re into rice, noodles or Asian food at all, then I suggest you get down to Wok Bar. Although its location in Manly is not so beautiful and renders parking difficult, the restaurant is quiet inside despite being on Sydney Road, and take away on the beach is always an option. It’s also clean and big enough to accommodate for groups, although the upstairs toilet outside the restaurant is a pain. The food is worth any of these minor inconveniences though — I love, love, love the Buddha noodles(great for vegetarians) and the Wok Bar Noodles — yum! The entrees are also tasty, if a little more fried and less fresh tasting than the mains. For a great start to your meal, get into the money bags. The Asian salads are also a good choice — try the Thai Beef. If you’ve ever had it before, it’s unlikely that it was as good as this! And I say that having travelled in Thailand! The dishes are always hot and fresh tasting, and the portions are generous, particularly for the extremely reasonable prices. The staff are courteous and quick with your food, although busy periods do take a while for your pad see ew or mi goreng to arrive. Fortunately for the boozers of the Northern Beaches, Wok Bar is a licenced venue — yay! What goes down better than a great dish of noodles? A great dish of noodles AND a glass of wine! With franchises located in both Dee Why and Mosman, Wok Bar is a consistently good choice. I really would suggest you give it a go!
