Great family run business that offers great food and great beer and a great atmosphere! Say g’day to Niall and he may do an Irish jig if he likes the cut of your jib!

peaceful chilled bar café of a Friday afternoon. As for cafes of its dollar scale this one pans out; satisfyingly better value for everything in ‘lavish portions’ and very good taste; beers included.

I’m a fan of the beer. Yes, I’ve heard the food is very good; brekky eggs and coffee, but we went for the Guinness and pie and stayed a little too long; those big beers go down so quickly, don’t they? This is such a laid back place though, that we happily poured ourselves out onto the footpath late in the evening and tootled the short block down to the Esplanade for a stroll home by the water. It was a really enjoyable night and it does have a great atmosphere.

In my opinion, the Celtic corner has the best coffee in Brisbane. They take their time and you can watch them make it exactly how you like it. There is no hurrying and I don’t mind in the slightest because it always tastes amazing. Words do not do it justice so I won’t even try. It is a two minute walk from the Celtic Corner to the iconic Manly Marina or on a Sunday, I like to grab a coffee and wander through the Farmers Markets by the water every few weekends. While it is nice to walk, the interior other notable thing about it is the interior. It is like walking into a small Irish pub, complete with Guinness posters and Irish charm. The atmosphere is completely cozy, intimate and warm. Go for the coffee and stay for the experience.
