It was a hot summer’s day and we weren’t working, so a trip to the Gold Coast.
This bar and restaurant sits right on the water, and you can stare longingly at all the boats in the marina that you wish you could climb aboard and sail away in.
Weekdays seem the time to go. Beautifully quiet with only a couple other parties, and the staff were friendly and attentive, without being overbearing.
We had the spatchcock and the kangaroo, both were incredibly delicious.
I can imagine on a warm summer’s night a table on the balcony would be perfect. We didn’t hang around, it was a bit of a sweltering day, but it would be a great spot for a quiet drink too.
