I usually try and not be too fussy when I’m seeing the doctor, so as long as they bulk bill I’m a happy camper. However, I’m not really enthusiastic about going back to this medical centre. I’m not sure how, but they deduced that my cold-​like symptoms might mean diabetes (without a blood test). I’m the sort of person who also appreciates a bit of bed side manner. I don’t require a lolly pop and a pat on the head, but eye contact is certainly reassuring.
I will commend them for squeezing me in at short notice, and for the lovely reception staff.
Nothing much else to say really, except I was glad the government paid for the experience.
