A gem amongst the rocks in Heidelberg! I regularly get my soy lattes from here (and the occasional cinnamon bun-​which are to DIE for) and if I’m treating myself to a week day lunch Lip is where I’m at. I love the cauliflower salad and the toasted crispy pork sandwich!

Great neighbourhood café. Used to use Allpress coffee from NZ — terrific. Menu is small but the food is well prepared. There are usually items on the specials board. Fast and friendly service and always busy. It does what it does really well. Recommended.

I am glad that this café is not located in a busy street because it gets busy enough as it is!
This café is a favourite lunch spot for us, they simply do great tasting food. Almost everything on their menu is a winner, and with daily specials you really get more than what you would otherwise expect from a café in a small strip like this.
You really do develop an appreciation for the chef who without fail delivers all meals cooked to perfection and comes up with innovative dishes.
Service is young and friendly, lovely girls on the coffee machine.
I popped in recently and saw their new updated menu, I am itching to find time for my next lunch here.

Only here for coffee but the breakfast and lunch menu looks great.
This café looks out of place on waterdale rd and would fit in better situated in high St Northcote.
The décor is quaint country charm.
The coffee could be a little stronger but the ambience and unpretentious service make up for that.
There is plenty of seating with a large courtyard out the back (shame this place is not licensed).
I will definitely return to try out the food menu.
