The playground primary, or the main station, seems a little lackluster, but once you see spiderweb, you realise this place isn’t so bad. Indeed, it’s rather good.
The first key feature of the playground is shade. Not all playgrounds have them, which seems silly, considering the Australian sun (distant cousin to suns of other countries) will kill you.
Then there’re toilets (YES!)
And there’s a fountain.
Sounds glorious, no?

Well, the lucky students at Highgate Junior and Primary Schools sure have a far more fun playground than I ever had at school! Yay for them!
All of the play equipment is fairly spread out and most of it is under shade cloth sails. Each of the play areas are split up depending on age/​skills needed for the equipment. The whole area is well thought out.
Although I’m sure the toilets would be locked after a certain time at night there is a drinking fountain right beside the play area. Check out the photos for more information regarding suitable times for the public to use the playground.
