Current owners have done extensive work and put in a lot of effort to make this place good. The décor is nice with polished wooden floors, nice leather couches for relaxed conversation. I love the ornate looking fire place. The large mirrors look great too. There is a pool table area which has a juke box. Got to love the juke box! The out door area is secluded from the busy main road. There is a nice out doors alfresco feel, décor looks elegant with some large planters scattered around. This place was once thought of as a working mans pub, it is now quite trendy. On the food side of things They provide a nice menu. I have had at least a couple of meals here which I enjoyed. The owners are working hard to make this place more shiek. The bar staff are attentive and here they provide good all round friendly service. The only thing I would encourage here is, please make sure I can get a coffee, even if it is 10pm. As many people have designated drivers and with spring in the valley on the go, keep the coffee flowing. I would like to see this place become busier. As yet many people might not be aware it is not a working mans pub any longer. Worth a visit next time your in the valley. Cheers stirling arms.
