Embers Woodfired Pizza

Embers is a fantastic local. We go quite often and enjoy dining in and taking away. On this visit we ordered take away. The thing I love about Embers is their take away menu has proper restaurant dishes on it, not just pizza and pasta.
On this visit I ordered the beef cheeks and they were served with mash and wilted greens. The beef cheeks were perfectly cooked and so delicious!!! My husband had pizza and he loved it!

I have been here several times with my partner and Embers never disappoints. It gets really busy so best to have a booking. Welcoming atmosphere with an extensive food and drinks menu. I’m always astounded by how well their staff are trained — it’s in the details like warning us the plates are hot, or apologising for a gap between dishes being served. Food is always good and i’ll keep coming back.

I’m a local and I love their breakfasts, great take away pizza and pasta too. They are often very busy but will always try to fit you in. Great service and a great price. Never had a bad meal yet.

Still yummy! Bit chilly indoors in the winter! Excellent food & coffee. Might need to chase up the wait people a bit during winter. They were a bit scarce.

First time at Emeber’s I came with three friends on a Saturday night. Though they were fully booked out we managed to get a table. I ordered the Chilli mussels hot which was really hot and amazingly delicious if you like spicy! Shared a bottle of white wine from WA which was very good. Over all experience was fantastic with friendly and helpful staff who brought us our orders in a reasonable time. Lots of great meals on the menu, will defiantly come back again to try other dishes.

We visited with our two young children, the menu for them was good, but once delivered, mmm… seen better. Adults meal was fantastic, cooked as requested. The atmosphere is relaxing and enjoyed our experience, we would book again.

I ordered the chicken parmigiana, which was quite a big serving. I liked that the parmigiana was cooked with a good amount of tomato sauce, which gave that flavour punch I was looking for. The chicken was nice and tender, but the chips on the other hand was a tad disappointing, lacking that bit of a crunch (for those not already soaked by the tomato sauce), and did not have too much of the salty edge that I was looking for.
The marinara pasta was alright. The pasta was overcooked in my opinion, and the taste average. There was a generous serving of seafood though, and a little small dish of parmesan cheese, which is always nice.
The service was OK, with the wait staff generally friendly, and was quick to attend to us.
Overall, the experience at Embers was an average one. I wouldn’t mind going back to try their pizzas (being a pizza place), but I probably won’t have any pastas as the two we had this afternoon was on the disappointing side of the scale.
