Look, I don’t eat seafood. I go to seafood places because I feel guilty that my wife loves stuff that lives underwater, and being with me, she rarely has it. That said, this place is just really an ordinary Chinese restaurant. Emphasis on the word ‘ordinary’. I have absolutely no idea how this place survives amongst the myriad of beautiful Chinese restaurants in the area. I mean, if it were in, say for example, Bairnsdale, it’d probably be highly recommended. But the reality is that it’s average. I restricted myself to vegetarian dishes, but even my wife didn’t think it was fantastic. By all means, try it. Just treat it as part of a challenge to visit every restaurant in the precinct.

Another Asian restaurant to join the Kingsway strip. This place doesn’t particularly stand out in my opinion. It’s a typical Chinese restaurant that sells typical Chinese food with typical tastes and typical prices. To me, it’s just another restaurant. This place serves Yum Cha daily, and I have been a few times so far. It gets pretty busy on weekends as Glen Waverley does lack Yum Cha venues. Their food is good, tasty and standard– but that’s just it, it’s standard. Nothing good about here, but nothing bad about here either. It’s got a colorful front window with purple and gold, but once inside it’s a plain room that can get a little cramped at times. There’s nothing wrong with its interior as most other restaurants are of a pretty similar layout. I probably wouldn’t want to come here again considering there are so many other impressionable options in Glen Waverley.
