I’ve been into Antons a few times now, and each time I’ve been rather disappointed with the service. The first time I could forgive as there were a few people in their being served already, so I didn’t mind a bit of a wait. The next two times though there was only one other person in there and I didn’t get looked at, as both staff were so involved in this other person. The jewelrey itself is okay. It’s expensive, more expensive than most other chain jewelers, but I’d say the quality is slightly higher. I’d much rather spend my dollars somewhere else though.

When I was shopping for an engagement ring, this was one of the shops I had a good look in. I’d rate this as one of the better jewellers at The Glen, but I still don’t think it’s an amazing place or anything. That said, it isn’t terrible, and the staff there seem to be a little bit better than the larger chains of jewellers. One thing I did walk out with was a better understanding of the grading of diamonds, which is something that every man who is about to propose seems to learn and then forget within about three months of the wedding being over. The fact that they took the time to explain it all was very good of them. I’d happily shop there for gifts for my wife.
