ONA Coffee

4 and a half stars. I was in Fyshwick shopping for all sorts of home improvement stuff, so needed a substantial breakfast to keep me going. Based on a precious Unilocal review I came here looking for a bacon and egg roll to beat all bacon and egg rolls, and ONA did not disappoint! The B&E came on a soft white roll with 2 rashers of delicious and perfectly cooked bacon and 2 fried eggs, just cooked so that it’s ever so slightly runny, and a choice of BBQ sauce with house made tomato chutney and cheddar, or rocket and aioli. I can definitely recommend the BBQ sauce option! Despite it being the best thing I put in my mouth that day, it was so big that I had to share it with my (more than willing) companion. Hey, I’m not complaining! This will fill the bellies of even the hungriest of men.
Our flat white coffees arrived with gorgeous coffee art (a leaf and a swan), and while it tasted pretty darn good, it arrived to our table only warm-​ish so we had to drink it quickly. I took half a star off that that.
There’s quite a bit of seating inside, and a small patio that provides a bit of shade on a hot summer day.
Great staff, great food, great ambience. Next time I’m shopping in the area I will defs be returning.

Great coffee. Wholesale business roasts a range of high quality beans on site. Sasha even just won a World Barista Championships!
Café is great. Staff friendly, consistently good coffee… And the best egg and bacon roll in Canberra by a long shot! Often they have interesting specials as well so definitely worth a visit
