This review is for their Lutwyche location. Simply great coffee, an unsung hero of northside suburban coffee. Proud to call this place my «local». The lovely, polite barista scores them extra points! The serve rouge beans which rank higher than campos in my books. I’m yet to have a bad coffee there.

This is such a great little find! Good coffee, consistently! The bloke behind the counter is the owner and he’s passionate about making a good cup of coffee. This alone gets my stamp of approval. Not to mention he’s ALWAYS happy, or at least that’s how he seems! Customer service is solid, coffee is great, he’s quick and it’s just plain nice. This is where I start most of my days when I’m heading off to do my own hunting & gathering. Recommend +++++

Bump & Grind brew great java — simple. This wee espresso bar is fast, convenient and open nice and early. Owner, David, is the archetypal ‘cool dude’ to deal with and he has great taste in music including the likes of Damian Marley and even a little Lucky Dube. If you need a hit of caffeine accompanied by some wicked reggae beats, this is the place to hang out.

It would be easy to walk by this place without noticing it, if it weren’t for the flocks of people gathered outside the roller door. This is literally a hole in the wall espresso bar — one barista wedged into the wall churning out takeaways for those lucky enough to know about the place. It’s nestled in next to Wok Me and opposite Eagle Boy’s pizza(yes it has fine views of the carpark). There are a small selection of pastries on display as well as sandwiches wrapped up in a little mini-bar sized fridge. As for seating — well let’s just hope you have to go to work, as there really is no space to mingle and loiter without blocking the footpath. As for the coffee — it’s strong, with smooth textured milk and prices are average. $ 3.50 for a small, $ 4 for a large. Worth stopping by to pick up a quick cup of Joe to go.
