Food was mediocre, service incredibly slow/nonexistent, and it took forever just to pay. Persian flavors never again

I haven’t eaten here in a while, but can’t wait to have a reason to go back. Fresh, bold flavours, generous size portions and if you’re getting takeaway, perfect for putting a table together for a group — just pick a serve of everything and let everyone dig in.

Excellent choice for anyone looking for tasty, affordable Persian food in the Eastern Suburbs. I have been here many times with friends and family and have always enjoyed the food and the vibe of this family owned business. It can get busy so be prepared for slower service during these times, but worth the wait.

My mates and I go to restraunt. Good food and always a bit of fun. Love butter chicken. Split bills is also good for us stingy young blokes.

Good value food, fresh and yummy. My fav is lamb korma, grill tandoori chic and their flavoured rice. Always busy. Recommend to make reservation unless you are an early diner.

Home to possibly the best butter chicken in Melbourne, Persian Flavours in Nunawading is THE place for a good curry or tandoor cooked meat. The food is very reasonably priced, and there is plenty of room since they brought out the next door business. There is also a sitting area out the back. Beware, as it usually gets pretty packed so it might pay to book. My personal recs are the butter chicken(of course!), saffron rice and garlic naan. Though I should warn you, they don’t go lightly on the garlic!

I’ve been eating at this place since not very long after it opened a few years ago. Then, it was a tiny little shop with about half a dozen tables. Since then, they’ve taken over the shop next door, so now there is a lot more tables. The place is busy. Very busy. On most Fridays and Saturdays, you’ll be well advised to book before you turn up. The food is wonderful. My personal favourite is the butter chicken. It is sweet, a bit creamy, and full of flavour. The serving sizes are fair, and the prices tend to be around $ 12 – 15 for a curry. Not bad, really. I usually grab a curry, a serve of rice and maybe a naan or two to share with my wife, and usually we’re not spending much more than $ 20 for the entire meal. Good value for money. The décor is a little bland, and sometimes it does take a little while for the food to come out, but it is well worth it. The staff are a bit of a mix, some being amongst the friendliest people I’ve met, while others sometimes give the impression that they’re just going through the motions. All in all, great value for money.
