Clarion Hotel on Canterbury

I been twice to this place, 4 star hotel a little overrated. Dining area was nice great pianist for entertainment. Food was pricey and very ordinary. Now with the room, smelt like dirty socks found hair on the linen. I’m kinda OCD when it comes to bedding. I complained they attended to me and problem was fixed. Staff are friendly and helpful.
I doubt I return in the future I have higher expectations from a 4 star hotel!

The Clarion Hotel, located on the corner of Springvale Rd and Canterbury Rd is a 4.5 star accommodation/​reception/​restaurant venue.
I have stayed here on two occasions. The first occasion was for a wedding, and I can’t say enough positive things about the experience. T
The wedding was amazing, the food was lovely, fantastic staff. No issues at all. The hotel room was really nice. Very modern, everything you’d expect from a luxury hotel. No problems at all.
Fast forward to our second stay. The room was nice, but the bedding was dirty. The bed had been made, but the top sheet had some clearly visible stains present. I’m sorry, no matter what star level your accommodation is rated, whether it be one star or five, I expect clean bedding.
The staff fixed the issue very quickly, which was a positive. We ordered room service, which was nice, but not worthy of the price. Especially when we could have ducked across the road for a curry and naan feed for under $ 20.
I know things happen, so I’d gladly give this place another go and re-​assess.
