With Melbourne going Mexican mad over the past few years, it such a shame that Tres Taco hasn’t lifted it’s game.
Still serving sloppy, cheesey, under spiced messes, Tres Taco is stuck in an Australian-Mexican-1980’s time warp, when mum would bang a plate of corn chips, topped with mild (coz anything more is just too spicy) old el paso sauce and a mega handful grated cheese (or if there wasn’t any, a few Kraft singles,) whilst waiting for prisoner to come on the tv.
My guest and I all had entrée and main and all came to the same conclusion — it all tasted the same, which wasnt nice. No. Not at all.
2 stars only because I didn’t mind the margaritas, they were slightly better that the food.
