From the décor, to the food, to the staff, this place is BEAUTIFUL! Popped in for brunch last weekend and the whole experience was amazing!
The brekkie was absolutely magical — the chefs definitely up to some wizardry, at least that’s what his ruggedly handsome beard led me to believe!
Top marks — will defo return one evening for a few glasses of red, and more importantly, to pay homage to the fromage!!!

Went here for a late breakfast and loved it. The place is decorated with only French items and looks cozy but still spacious. The couches were sadly occupied but the tables look very nice as well.
The sandwiches they have are delicious and their choices of cheese surprisingly huge. Try their Comte! This is a perfect start into a day with great French food. One of the best places on Brunswick St!

Pour les expatriés ayant le mal du pays, ou tout simplement pour les amoureux du fromage sous toutes ses formes, foncez chez Shifty Chèvre!
Situé dans le quartier branché de Fitzory, au coeur de Brunswick St, ce restaurant offre toutes les spécialisés bien de chez nous: Raclette, Tartiflette, Camembert au four, fondue… Et même plus ! En effet, leur menu Shifty mornings offre aussi des breakfast pour tous les goûts et toutes les faims, et ce jusqu’à 18h!
Ultra convivial, l’endroit et sa décoration ont été un vrai coup de cœur, et l’occasion de faire découvrir toutes ces merveilles de la gastronomie française à mes amis Australiens. Et non pas besoin de se ruiner pour apprécier de bons produits français et du bon vin à Melbourne!

Great place. Fondue on a Friday accompanied by a Pinot. Small café but popular and we did not feel crowded. Small menu but great choices. Staff friendly and attentive. Make sure you visit the loo! Only niggle — mostly high stools at tables and quite uncomfortable after an hour. Would go here again. Especially for the brekkie menu which looked delicious.
