Hurrah! Health has arrived in the North Fitz hood. This great little café has an extensive range of tasty, organic foods and caters to most dietary requirements. Whether you are vegan, paleo or gluten free there is a tasty morsel for you. It’s also super efficient service — items are ready prepared to take away (brekkie, lunch and dinner). I really enjoyed a fruit free cereal with coyo and spiced nuts. The coffee was good too. Can’t wait to go back and try a smoothie and ‘clean’ dessert.

You really do get to choose to have your breakfast EXACTLY how you want it here! You pick the base, the toppings and crunchy bits to finish them off, and then put it all together. The thing here is they really do pay attention to the quality, they are seriously into good food, and the attention to detail really shows — they cater to every diet, have plenty of nuts, but no peanuts, which is a godsend to those of us with children with peanut allergies. The attention to detail in every ingredient really pays off too, because the flavour is awesome :-)

A great place with friendly and helpful staff to help you through the menu. There is a selection of healthy breakfast options — and yes you can choose! I tried the grain free muesli topped with organic coconut yoghurt, raw chia and raspberry coulis and added a goji berry + cocoa nibs crunch. Options can be paleo, vegetarian, gluten free — or if you just feel like having something healthy for the day! Coffee from Mario’s was also fantastic — with coconut, almond or soy milk options too. Lunch option was delightful too — I tried the asian slaw with sweet chilli prawns and chilli almonds — great combination. Thanks UnilocalMelbourne and Nic for introducing me to a wonderful experience. Will be back and will spread the word. Keep up the great work Fit Inn!

Mix and match to make your perfect meal, catering to people who value healthy foods, be it paleo types, vegans or those without a label that love nurturing their body. I predict this will be busy in summer with it’s close proximity to Edinborough gardens.
