Mountain District Learning

The Mountain District Learning Centre is conveniently located nearby Ferntree Gully Train Station. It offers courses for adults as well as VCE, VCAL and VET tuition.
I went there for a course in relaxation and meditation. The course went for 6 weeks and involved a one hour session for each week. It costs only $ 70 and was well worth it. Class sizes here are kept small and this means that classes run smoothly and if you are struggling it is easy for the teachers to notice and give you more help.
The building itself is very non-​threatening as it is a converted house. Because of this it can be a little hard to find. Look for the church near the station and the Learning Centre is almost opposite.
There is a large range of courses on offer and the staff here are super welcoming. If you’re looking to do something different I would definitely recommend it. My Mum recently attended to earn her Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, which took her around 3 months to earn. She really enjoyed her experience with the Centre and would visit again.
