So you don’t go to this restaurant for the décor or atmosphere but who needs it when the food is as good as this. We went on a Thursday night and we had the chef to ourselves, will defiantly be returning the food was cooked with love. Also did I mention very cheap!

Persian Fantastiqcal Muchness! So many different things to try and fall in love with — but dont forget to get the Ceviche… AH! DIE!!! Drizzle some lme n chilli over the top and float off to be the Prince of Persia… or Princessa of the Persians… Cost effective too! Light on the hip pocket for cash and for healthiness of food!

Misky Cravings is easy to miss, it’s in an otherwise empty arcade in Fairfield, currently with no signage, although that’s apparently coming soon! The husband and wife team are very friendly, and will explain the large selection of dishes as needed. I’d never had peruvian food before, so there was a lot of unfamiliar tastes! The menu has a lot of seafood, featuring several ceviche dishes with a strong lime bite to them. There’s also the more home-style potato mash combined with chicken, tuna or seafood and cheesy sauce. Finally there’s some surprising asian influence with rice or noodle stir-fry with peruvian spices. Lots of familiar ingredients, but combined in unusual ways with unusual spices and sauces. I enjoyed the food a lot, home-style cooking that felt genuine. We had a group of 9, and paid less than $ 20 each for a big selection of dishes, jugs of drink and dessert. Amazing value for such unique food.

This is a real gem. Authentic Peruvian cuisine that’s tucked away from the main strip that’s family owned. Wife front of house and the husband on the stoves. The menu showcases the diversity and heritage of Peruvian food including influences from Chinese immigrants. Try the Causa and Ceviche on a hot day — refreshing. What ever you do, don’t miss the hand cut chips! The place isn’t much, but there’s a buzz from latin music and Peruvian families(a good sign) digging in. We ate plenty for $ 20 a head so its also great value.
