It’s hard to peg this bakery as it sells harty loaves, three types of scones, milkshakes and fruit smoothies, Vietnamese rolls, and the normal refined sugary pastry treats. If you’re sick of the usual inner west hip baklava with local cardamon honey and organic caramalized pansy flower on top this would be a good place to go to either eat in or take away. The ladies that run this place are willing to go the extra mile to satisfy customers and are in high spirits!

Um, yummmmm. When you get a craving for bakery goods, head here. They’re open super early in the morning(I’ve run past at 6.30am and seen a bunch of early birds already settled in, drinking coffee and nibbling pastries), the range is good and the price is right. Le Bake sits on the corner of Enmore Road and Cambridge Street in Enmore. There’s usually plenty of parking available in the backstreets, so you can pop in and spend a while making your tasty selections. Choose a pastel-pretty cupcake, a perfect croissant or a hot cross bun if you time it right at Easter. The tea and coffee is also pretty good, they make delicious fresh bread and the staff are lovely.
